How I work

With 12 years teaching experience across the primary age-range and many years as a youth worker and adult trainer in The Scouts I understand that children learn best through doing and through having fun.  

I do not use worksheets and I do not use sample test questions.  Instead, we play games and do activities designed to engage the children and get them developing skills without even realising.

Tutoring

I offer 1:1 or private small group sessions (via Zoom at the moment).  In these sessions I get to know your child(ren) and what you want to get out of the tutoring and I tailor our activities to get the very best from your child, working on areas they already feel confident in and weaving in areas they aren’t so sure of.  Tutoring is £30 per hour.
